Prize winner at the AGIMUS International Competition (Italy), Christopher is principal flute of the Toronto Philharmonia. With 25 years of teaching experience, he has given solo recitals and master classes internationally with past tours in London, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Madrid and Salzburg. He is active with the British Flute Society and Canadian Flute Association.

As a passionate teacher, Terry imparts his beautiful tone, intonation, musicality and rhythmic precision to students. Terry offers students a mature, patient approach and communicates with parents to help establish suitable goals. His students have been accepted into Music Performance at McGill University, University of British Columbia and University of Toronto. Young students excell on RCM exams and competitions.
“Imaginative and magical”, flutist Terry Lim is a charismatic performer with a colourful tone and brilliant artistry. Terry received his Bachelor of Music degree with international soloist Lorna Mcghee at the UBC; he completed his M.M. at New York University with renowned flutist Bradley Garner. Terry has performed in various music festivals and concert series across North America, including Domaine Forget, Orford, Toronto Summer Music Festival, Banff Centre and Pierre Monteux and graced stages including the Chan Center, Kimmel Center, Carnegia Hall, DiMenna Center, Alice Tully Hall, and Merkin Hall. Terry was the principal flute of the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra and Burnaby Symphony Orchestra as well as a former faculty member at the UBC Summer Music Institute and New York University. At York, Kitty studied flute with Barbara Ackerman and performed in the Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra. Outside university, she has performed with Kindred Spirits Orchestra and the Canadian Flute Choir. As a teacher, she brings warmth and enthusiasm to her teaching. Availability: Tue. Sat. Sun.
